Corporate and financial communication firm, Citadel-MAGNUS, has achieved a fourth consecutive year as Australia’s leading transaction communication firm, based on the latest global and regional league tables released by Mergermarket.
Citadel-MAGNUS has ranked 4th in Asia-Pacific (excluding Japan), based on deal volume, in the 2018 Financial PR regional tables from Mergermarket, cementing it as Australia’s most active corporate transaction communication firm.
The latest figures show that the Citadel-MAGNUS team worked on 31 deals during 2018 (2017: 28 deals) valued at US$15.9 billion (A$22.4 billion) in total, ranking the firm 9th in Asia-Pacific based on deal value.
Highlights during the year included advising Amcor on the $7 billion takeover of US-based Bemis Company, Investa Office Fund on the $3.2 billion takeover by Oxford Properties, CYBG on its $2.9 billion takeover of Virgin Money, Reliance Worldwide buying UK-based John Guest for $1.2 billion and Mitsui’s successful $602 million acquisition of AWE.
The Mergermarket league tables examine the performance of Financial PR advisory firms around the world on transactions worth more than US$5 million, ranking firms by the volume and value of deals they have advised on.
Citadel-MAGNUS has consistently placed as the leading Australian firm on the Mergermarket tables, having worked with companies of all sizes, across most sectors, on a range of highly complex and often contested corporate transactions.
